Thanos has a mission—to collect the six Infinity Stones disbursed across the universe and, with his finger, “snap” half of the population out of existence. Already in possession of the Power stone from Xandar, he comes for the Space stone on the Asgardian ship carrying Thor, Loki and Hulk. After extracting a deadly toll and retrieving the stone, Thanos sends four of his minions to Earth to retrieve the Time stone, currently protected by Dr. Strange and the Mind stone, held by Vision. His crew, however, get more than they bargained for when the Avengers step in to try to stop their mission. Meanwhile, the Guardians of the Galaxy, who have rescued Thor, are in the process of hunting down Thanos who is on a quest to retrieve the Reality stone and the illusive Soul stone. Will he succeed? Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Avengers – Infinity War”.

∙ Tony Stark and Pepper Potts are talking in the park. Tony is wearing a sweater that’s tied close to his neck. Pepper unties it but the sweater still hangs from his shoulders. The sweater is still there in the side view of them when Tony says “I’m just trying to protect us”. It cuts to a close-up of Tony when he continues to say “the future usses” and the sweater is gone.

∙ Tony turns into Iron Man. In the left side view, Tony is shown taking his sunglasses off. It cuts to a front view as he’s still walking. The glasses are in his hand but disappear when his hand reaches mid chest level.

∙ During the fight in New York, Ebony Maw tosses Dr. Strange in the air. Dr. Strange hits a mail delivery vehicle and lands on the ground next to a NYPD squad car and an overturned moped. When Ebony Maw begins to strangle him, Dr. Strange falls next on the pavement next to the car. But, when Ebony Maw picks him up, along with the pavement, the vehicles aren’t there.

∙ Vision and Wanda are spending time together when the stone starts to bother him. When he asks her what she feels, Wanda replies “I just feel you” and places her left hand on his cheek. The scene cuts to a wider view when he leans in to kiss her and Wanda’s hand is down.

∙ Peter Parker / Spider-Man and Tony are arguing on Ebony Maw’s ship. Peter’s hair is neatly combed back, off of his face and forehead. But, when he remarks “OK, that didn’t make sense”, the hair on the right of his forehead is askew, but it’s back in its original position in the next view of him.

∙ Groot breaks off his arm after using it to make a handle for Stormbreaker. When it lands on the ground, the sharp edge of the weapon, is angled to the right, toward Thor. But when Stormbreaker begins to levitate, it’s the dull side that’s facing him.

“Avengers – Infinity War” (2018) stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Don Cheadle, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel (voice), Bradley Cooper (voice), Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio Del Toro, William Hurt and Letitia Wright. It runs 149 minutes and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action throughout, language and some crude references.
